AMALINA Technologies, Inc. and Chiller Services Refrigerant Recovery Reclamation, LLC are commonly owned and occupy adjacent units of the same building. Chiller Services buys recovered refrigerant. We test it. The purity we report is an input to the price Chiller Services pays.
That is a conflict of interest, and it is the first thing on this page because you are entitled to weigh it before you send us a sample. What follows is what constrains it. None of it is offered as a reason the conflict does not exist.
01The relationship
Naming the pressure precisely is worth more to you than a promise that there isn't any.
A low number is worth money to the buyer. A high number is worth money to the seller. We write the number, and we share owners with the buyer.
Nothing on this page makes that untrue. A disclosure is not a cure; it is what lets you weigh the bias yourself, the way you would weigh any other known bias in a measurement.
The laboratory’s work is refrigerant analysis and refrigeration oil analysis. It does not buy, sell or take title to refrigerant, and it takes no position in the material on its bench.
02Controls
This is the laboratory's stated policy, written in the words it expects to be held to. If you believe one of these was not followed on your sample, say so and ask for the record — that request is the point of publishing them.

The person who releases a report is not the person who priced the material. Nobody on the commercial side of a purchase reviews, approves or signs off the result that helps set what is paid for it.

Once a report is released it is not edited. A correction is issued as a new revision that names the report it supersedes, and both remain on the record. There is no version of a result that disappears.

Any customer may have a second portion of the same material tested by a laboratory of their own choosing, at their own cost. Say so when you register and the sample is drawn for two — a split has to exist at sampling time, not be wished for afterwards.

The refrigerant testing is backed by an AHRI Certified® Refrigerant Testing Laboratory certification. It is not ours to grant, renew or withdraw, and the register is public — you can confirm it without asking us for anything, including whether it is still current.

And what it does not cover: the AHRI Refrigerant Testing Laboratory programme certifies refrigerant testing. It has no oil scope at all. Our refrigeration oil work carries no third-party certification behind it, and we are not going to let the certification above imply one. Judge that service on its method and its report.

03Revisions
An immutable report is only worth something if the correction path is written down, because otherwise immutability just means the mistake is permanent. This is the path.
Against the report number, whoever raises it — you, a third party reading it, or us. It is on the record from that moment, including if the answer turns out to be that the original was right.
No edit in place, no reissue under the same identity, no silent replacement of a PDF at the same link.
The raw data, the calculations and the limits applied for that refrigerant are re-read; where retained material allows, the analysis is repeated on it.
If the result stands, you get that in writing with the reasoning. If it changes, a new revision is issued carrying the report number, the revision, and the identity of the report it supersedes.
The superseded report is marked superseded, not deleted, and remains available to you. Anyone who relied on the first version can see exactly what changed and when.
Two consequences worth stating, because they are the ones that cost us something. A revision that goes against the affiliate is issued on the same terms as any other. And a report that has been superseded stays reachable, which means our own corrections stay visible to anyone who goes looking.
04Confidentiality
It belongs to whoever submitted the sample, and the affiliate is not the submitter.
It is reported to you and to whoever you name. It is not published, not sold, not pooled into a data product, and not used as an example anywhere without your say-so.
For a sample submitted by anyone else, the affiliate is not told the number, is not told the verdict, and is not told that you sent a sample at all. Two exceptions, both narrow and both stated here rather than discovered later: you direct us in writing to release it, or a law or lawful order compels it.
The two companies occupy adjacent units, so it is a fair thing to ask about. They do not share a records system, and being an employee of the reclaimer next door confers no access to laboratory results.
Chiller Services submits samples too. On those it is a customer like any other: it receives its own results, on the same terms, and it sees nobody else’s. Its work does not jump a queue and its results are released under the same separation set out above.
There is no retention period on this page, because we are not going to print one the laboratory has not committed to in writing. It matters more than it sounds: a re-test, a revision and a split all depend on material still being on the shelf. If it bears on your records or your own compliance file, ask before you ship and get the answer in writing.
05If this is not enough
The register that certifies us is public and lists the other certified laboratories too. Testing somewhere else is a search, not a favour you have to ask us for.
Wanting a laboratory with no relationship to a reclaimer is a reasonable thing to want. If your situation calls for it — a disputed batch, a contract that requires it, a counterparty who will not accept a result from a lab that shares owners with the buyer — then use one, and do it without feeling you owe us an explanation.
AHRI’s directory lists the certified refrigerant testing laboratories. It is public, we do not control it, and it is the right place to look. We publish no claim about any other laboratory; look them up yourself.
We would rather you go in with your eyes open than send us a sample you are going to doubt.
Take the split. Tell us at registration that you want the sample drawn for two, send the second portion wherever you like, and compare. It costs you the second test; what it costs us is the chance to be wrong in public.
