AMALINA Technologies, Inc.tests refrigerant purity against AHRI Standard 700 and analyses the condition of refrigeration compressor oil, from one address in Santa Fe Springs, California. Everything below is either something you can check in somebody else’s register, or something we would rather say plainly than have you find out.

Name, address, scope, credential, affiliation. Nothing here asks for the benefit of the doubt — the credential line is a link to a register we do not control.
02What we test
Both run here in Santa Fe Springs. One of them is covered by the certification above and the other is not, and putting that distinction first is the least a laboratory page can do.

No sentence on this site borrows it for the oil bench, and if you find one that reads that way, it is an error and we want to hear about it.
03The credential
We hold AHRI Certified® Refrigerant Testing Laboratory certification, and we are the only laboratory in California that does. You can confirm that without speaking to us.
Open AHRI’s public directory, select the Refrigerant Testing Laboratories programme, and search the participant name. A listing reads Active or it does not. The register belongs to somebody else, which is what makes it worth more than a sentence on our own site.
A certificate number typed onto a web page is a claim about a document the reader cannot see, and a lapsed number looks exactly like a live one. The register is the authority, so we send you to the register.
Oil, at all. It is also not a reclaimer certification. This laboratory tests refrigerant; it does not reclaim it, and no reclaimer credential is claimed anywhere on this site.
A certification describes a laboratory’s testing. It says nothing about who owns the laboratory. Ours is owned in common with a refrigerant reclaimer — section 06 below, and the independence policy in full.
04The specification
Not one generic limit column applied to everything. A generic column fails conforming material and passes non-conforming material, in both directions, and the pass/fail is what a buyback price and a batch certification rest on.
We publish the limits in full rather than summarising them: 22 single-component refrigerants and 25 blend composition windows, with the decision rules that govern a verdict at the boundary. If you want to know the exact bar your sample is held to before you spend money on a test, it is on the site, not behind an enquiry form.
Those limits come from one controlled reference, and it is the same reference a result is judged against — so what you read on the specification page cannot drift away from what a report says.

AHRI 700-2019
Adds R-1336mzz(Z) to the non-condensables exemption and introduces the R-40 sub-limit.
AHRI 700-2024
Adds R-1336mzz(E); §4.2.3.2 also exempts R-514A, which the table note omits.
3 published editions, and they do not agree on everything — the list of fluids exempt from the non-condensables determination grows between them. Which edition a result was judged against is part of the result.
05Where the bench is
The bench is at one address, and samples reach it by carrier or by hand. Which of the two you use changes nothing about the test.
If you are working from older Amalina paperwork, check the address printed on the form in your truck against the one above before you drive. Earlier documents give a different building.
Both routes are normal. Hand delivery is what being in Santa Fe Springs is worth to a contractor working the basin: a cylinder drawn in the morning can be at the laboratory the same day, rather than in a carrier’s network.
Hours are not published on this site. If you are driving a sample over, ring the laboratory first on (562) 404-9955 so somebody is expecting it.
06Disclosure
This belongs on the About page rather than in a footnote, because it is the thing a careful customer would want to know first.
AMALINA Technologies, Inc. and Chiller Services Refrigerant Recovery Reclamation, LLC are two companies. Common ownership. Adjacent unit, same building. One is a laboratory; the other is a refrigerant reclaimer.
The reason that matters is the direction the money runs. The purity a laboratory reports is an input to the price a reclaimer pays, so if you are selling recovered refrigerant to Chiller Services, the laboratory reporting the number is affiliated with the buyer. Anyone can assemble that sentence from public records, which is exactly why we would rather write it ourselves.
That is a structural conflict, and a structural conflict is answered with controls a reader can check rather than with an assurance that there is nothing to worry about. What the controls are, and where they stop, is set out on the independence page rather than summarised here.
